I started this website mainly to give myself an outlet for expressing my opinions.  I'm no genius, I'm just a working man here in the USA who's been fortunate enough to be exposed to the ideas of "libertarianism".  I know that many Americans are fed up and disillusioned with the two-party system, and even disappointed with the third parties.  Where are the real intellectuals in America?  Where are the real free thinkers?  Certainly not on television news, in the newspapers, on college campuses, and most definitely not in Washington.

It seems, to me, that the best source for wisdom is US.  Regular Americans, living our daily lives, have more useful knowledge and wisdom than a thousand of our so-called "betters" in academia, politics or the media.

Maybe, just maybe, if we are allowed to be FREE - free from the do-gooder meddling of the nanny-state worshippers - many of our problems will disappear.

We're constantly told that our problems can be solved by having the government "do something."  Well, maybe those problems were CAUSED by government in the first place, and the sad reality is that any further government involvement will just make everything even worse!  Maybe if we, the people, are just allowed to be free and to make our own decisions and control our own lives, maybe we can solve our own problems.

That's really the heart of what "libertarianism" is all about - Individual Liberty.
